I’m Jenny Knott, an experienced, qualified osteopath with nearly 20 years’ experience helping people recover from injury, reduce pain and move more comfortably in their everyday lives.
My background is dominated by sport – competitive swimmer, keen skier, previously windsurfer and triathlete and an initial degree in Sport & Exercise Science, and now with very sporty teenage children & a not quite so young footballing, desk bound husband (!) often needing my expertise.
I’ve always been fascinated by how the body works and how the right treatment and advice can support long-term recovery — not just short-term fixes. My approach is thorough, practical and tailored to you. I take time to really listen, understand what’s going on, and create a treatment plan that feels manageable and is effective.
My work has also been shaped by personal experience. After a heart attack in 2021, I went through my own period of rehabilitation and recovery. That journey gave me a deeper appreciation of how vulnerable and frustrating it can feel when your body isn’t behaving as it should, and it’s made me an even more compassionate, patient and thoughtful practitioner.
Along the way, I’ve also experienced my fair share of everyday aches and injuries — from neck strains to sciatica and tennis elbow — so I genuinely understand how much you just want to feel better and get back to living your life.
I work from a quiet treatment room at home, with its own entrance through the garden, creating a calm and relaxed space where you can feel comfortable and at ease during your appointment.
I am registered with the General Osteopathic Council.
