Your appointment

01

Consultation

A detailed medical history will be taken, along with a discussion of your current symptoms, general health and lifestyle. This information helps inform an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan.

02

Assessment

A physical examination will assess posture, joint movement, muscle health and areas of tension or restriction. You will be asked to perform simple movements as part of this assessment. Relevant scan reports or test results can be brought along if available.

03

Diagnosis and treatment plan

Your findings will be clearly explained and a personalised treatment plan discussed with you, including expected outcomes and recommendations for ongoing care.

04

Treatment & advice

I always aim to provide treatment at the first appointment. You are likely to be given relevant advice or exercises to support your recovery between sessions.

Your first appointment lasts approximately 45–60 minutes.

Follow-up appointments typically last 30–45 minutes.

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily.

How I treat

All treatment is hands-on and tailored to you.

I use a combination of techniques such as soft tissue massage, stretching, joint mobilisation and, where appropriate, manipulation to help reduce pain, ease tension and improve movement. Application of kinesiology tape after treatment, if appropriate.

Rather than focusing only on the sore area, I look at how your whole body is working together, including your posture, daily habits and lifestyle, to understand what might be contributing to the problem.

The aim is not just short-term relief, but helping you feel stronger and more comfortable in the long term.
